We will begin with a one-on-one chat during which time I will assess and record your goals, become familiar with your lifestyle, and ascertain your current understanding of nutrition. We will discuss your health – both current and history, as well as your diet and time restraints.
Topics covered will be: balanced nutrition, weight loss goals, antioxidants, carbohydrate-fat-protein balancing and food prep (if required).
After the consultation I will prepare documents and specialized meal plans based on your nutrition needs, available time, and personal tastes. From the meal plan I will create a time-saving shopping list for both Week 1 and Week 2. These documents, assessments, meal plans, shopping lists and recipes will be delivered to you personally by email within 36 hours so you can get started right away. I will be available to discuss or adjust the plans by your preference (phone or email) at a time that is convenient to both of us.
I encourage you to check in with me by email during the first two weeks to let me know how you’re feeling or to discuss further adjustments to your meal plan or recipe substitutions.
As a special thank you for your trust in me, I will also send you one copy (in PDF format) of your choice of books I’ve written or edited as a thank you gift (up to a $10 value). You can currently choose from “The Complete Low Carb High Fat Diet”, “Low Carb Breads Crackers & More”, or “Coconut Oil: Miracle or Myth?”. Once you have completed your two week plan, we should spend about 30 minutes on a follow up consultation to discuss or adjust your diet going forward. Many clients choose to repeat their initial two week plan but should you require adjustments or a new plan for variety, a second plan will be created for you at a nominal cost.
